Black Moda
Going into the deeper side of things Moda Music released a fantastic compilation Moda Black mixed by label affiliates Jaymo & Andy George.
Aside from being some of the minds behind Moda Music itself, the duo have been gaining notice in the UK and across Europe with frequent DJ sets on BBC Radio 1, Moda nights at fabric in London and a residency at We Love... Space in Ibiza. Next up, in a bit of a contrast to Moda's electro-heavy house, is a mixed compilation of "tough, soulful underground music" on Moda Black. The disc is composed entirely of exclusive tracks from the likes of Tim Green, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything and Disclosure. The launch party was at Fabric on July 13th.
And an honourable mention to Darius Syrossian for some bombs as of late. Keep an ear out for his collab with Hector Cuoto in November.
