What Lies ahead for 2011?

Music Music and more Good Music!! Music continues to evolve and im only drawn deeper. Plans of spending more time on whats important to me and less on whats not will be the main objective for the year. In a couple weeks time i should have the sound in my studio exactly how i want it, then you can expect some finished productions from me, finally. Next will be some plans of seeing what inspires so many people with a visit overseas, but i will have to wait and see how much i can afford. Adelaide needs some good parties so later on in the year i'm going to give it to them, that's if i come back from overseas, lol. Most of all, expect me to step up, dive deeper into what drives you and show you what it means to feel and experience music.

keep watching for updates...

Always Quality

KAISERDISCO have to be a couple of my favourite producers, always releasing quality tech house tunes, usually energetic with tribal sounds and progress nicely, perfect addition to any tech house set.

There latest album isn't all tech house but is still all quality.
check it out if you haven't already

Props To Locals

Now here are a few guys killin it down under in our Radelaide.
First of all,

Alex McKenzie.
His radio show on FreshFM92.7 called _SHiFT is sensational, showcasing sounds from House and Progressive to Techno featuring the more underground sounds. With great mixing ability and a keen ear for production this is one guy destined to take things to the next level. Im a huge fan of grooves and the tech house sound and this guy can get it going on.

be sure to check out his mixes and more about him here:

Next,

Jorge Watts.
No stranger to the big events in adelaide with an aresenal of releases on many respected labels, you'll be sure to hear Jorge's name in the global scene. Soon to be touring around Europe and the Mediterranean in search of sustainability as a techno dj, you can hear him pumpin out sounds from Jackin House to Tech House and Techno.

find out more about him here:
http://www.jorgewatts.com/
be sure to check out his releases on somewhere like Beatport aswell.

Last but not least,

James Corbett.
You'll usually find him playing an energetic trance set with influences of tribal and techno but also playin tech house at his weekly event called Indulge where he gave me my first gig. A sensational dj with a great connection to the music and exceptional mixing ability. Be sure to look out for his productions later on in the year.

He writes an article in our local clubbing magazine called Innerbeing, be sure to check out his latest here:

.......I look forward to working closely with these guys in 2011 with an event i will be organizing later this year called RESONANCE, more on that later...

keep up the good work guys!

This Guy's Chill

King Roc AKA Martin Dawson had a recent release on Kling Klong called "Double Six" with remixes by Ramon Tapia (An awesome DJ/Producer) and Basti Grub. Although not that fresh anymore, I often find myself playing Double Six and the remix by Ramon Tapia.

Here is an older track, most likely my favourite under his King Roc alias.

Also a link to his myspace which has a fantastic video of his live setup including the Lemur, which is now discontinued. Possibly due to the iPad being cheaper and having the same possiblities using an app called touchOSC, feel free to post your thoughts.
